I'm not sure what an offensive posture will look like especially since they're fighting a bigger/stronger enemy but I really wish the AES can go on the offensive sometime. They can't just continue defending and apparently these imperialists won't stop until they succeed.

Niger Takes Full Control Of Arlit Uranium Mine, Revokes French Company’s License Niger has taken another bold step towards the full nationalization of its resources. On May 18th, 2026, the Nigerien government revoked a 58-year-old concession granted to France’s Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) on the country’s fabled Arlit mine. French mining company Orano had been siphoning uranium from this mine to power France’s nuclear reactors for over 50 years before it was suspended from operating in Niger by the administration of President Abdourahamane Tchiani in 2024. With this latest move by Niamey, Niger, which has relied on neighboring Nigeria to meet the bulk of its energy demands for decades, is closer than ever to finally harnessing its own energy reserves for the benefit of its masses. As a member of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), Niger has faced relentless att@cks by Western-backed t*rrorists, economic isolation and sovereignty violations by Western-aligned African states, and endless slander from Western and Western-aligned media. Despite these externally-imposed challenges, the country and its fellow AES members, Mali and Burkina Faso, have continued to record economic and political wins. All 3 AES members have pointed to former colonizer France as a key sponsor of t£rror in the region – a claim which has been corroborated by their international allies – and France itself has made no bones about its intentions to revive its dwindling influence in Africa, and in so doing, shore up its presently crumbling economy.

Niger To Provide 1000 Affordable Housing Units To Citizens, Near Completing First Batch The Nigerien government is set to deliver 1000 affordable housing units to the people of Niger as part of its Cité de la Refondation (“City of Refoundation”) social housing initiative, launched in 2024 by the administration of Nigerien President Abdourahmane Tchiani. As of April 10, 2026, the first batch of 400 homes is near completion. The Cité de la Refondation initiative comes amid many bold steps forward for the once economically and politically stagnant West African nation, since it severed ties with former colonizer France in 2023. As a member of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), Niger has faced relentless attacks by Western-backed terrorists, economic isolation and sovereignty violations by Western-aligned African states, and endless slander from Western and Western-aligned media. Despite these externally-imposed challenges, the country and its fellow AES members, Mali and Burkina Faso, have continued to record economic and political wins. All 3 nations have pointed to France as a key sponsor of terror in the Sahel – a claim which has been corroborated by their international allies – and France itself, along with its fellow Western nations, has made no bones about its intentions to revive its dwindling influence in Africa, and in so doing, shore up its own presently crumbling economy. Recall that on March 11, 2026, the European Parliament called for the release of French-backed former Nigerien President Mohamed Bazoum, who was detained in 2023 by the Tchiani administration for his crimes against the Nigerien people.

We Were Trained By Foreign Instructors – JNIM Terrorist Who Participated In Mali Attacks On April 25, 2026, the Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) foiled a series of coordinated terror attacks targeting several cities across the country, primarily the garrison towns of Kati, Kidal, Gao and Sevare. The Al-Qaeda-linked Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin (JNIM) and the so-called Azawad Liberation Forces (FLA) both claimed responsibility for these attacks, whose scale and orchestration suggested substantial external backing – Al-Qaeda has known links to the US government. On April 28, 2026, Mali President Assimi Goïta addressed the nation, vowing to continue military operations until the forces of terror were expelled from the country. In this video recorded by Russia’s The African Corps, which has been a key ally to Mali in its fight against Western-backed terror, a JNIM terrorist who participated in the April 25 attacks admits to being trained by “foreign instructors” – which to those in the know, is simply code for France and Ukraine. As a member of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), Mali has faced relentless attacks by Western-backed terrorists, economic isolation and sovereignty violations by Western-aligned African states, and endless slander from Western and Western-aligned media. Despite these externally-imposed challenges, the country and its fellow AES members, Niger and Burkina Faso, have continued to record economic and political wins. NIGER HONOURS REVOLUTIONARIES, NOT COLONISERS On 15 October, the anniversary of revolutionary Burkina Faso President Thomas Sankara's assassination, the government of Niger re-named street names and monuments after him and other great Pan-Africanists. A portrait of a French coloniser, Parfait-Louis Monteil, was replaced with the image of Sankara and a memorial of his likeness was remade in his honour using images. The Nigerien capital of Niamey's Charles de Gaulle Avenue was named after the great Nigerien freedom fighter Djibo Bakary, founder of the Sawaba Party, a mass socialist Pan-Africanist party that campaigned against French neo-colonialism. When Bakary was exiled from Niger, he was embraced by presidents, such as Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana, Modibo Keïta of Mali and Ahmed Sékou Touré of Guinea. He and his comrades received military training in China and Algeria to launch a guerilla struggle to liberate Niger, which was unsuccessful. Francophone Plaza was also re-baptised as the Alliance of Sahel States Plaza after the anti-imperialist Pan-African federation aiming to unify Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger into a single federal state with an eye on unifying the whole continent. This is just one of several steps toward decolonisation since President Abdourahamane Tiani came to power through a military coup d’état on 26 July 2023. Like neighbouring Burkina Faso and Mali, Niger has expelled the French military from its soil. Niger also became the first country to boot the US Africa Command (AFRICOM). Niger's government has also revoked the mining license of the French company, Orano, which was exploiting Niger's uranium deposits. Niger nationalised water after kicking out a private French company and decreased the public cost of medical treatments by 50 per cent. Nigerien citizens organise regular rallies to express support for the Tiani-led government. What do you think of Niger re-naming their streets and monuments? Let us know in the comments.

Emmanuel Macron Interrupts Presentation At Africa-France Summit To Talk Down On Africans On May 11, 2026, African delegates convened in Nairobi Kenya for the 2026 Africa-France Summit, which saw, among many things, Kenya’s Western-aligned government signing off its people’s future to the former colonial power, France, with 11 deals cutting across various sectors of Kenya’s economy. In this video, taken at Nairobi University, Kenya, during the summit’s proceedings, French President Emmanuel Macron rudely interrupts a presentation to talk down on the Africans in the audience. Under the guise of “making order”, he demonstrates the very same colonial arrogance of all his predecessors, who plundered and terrorized Africa with impunity for centuries until the people Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso, in 2022, chose to take their destiny into their own hands, and show France the door. Since forming the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) in 2024, Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso have faced relentless attacks by Western-backed t£rrorists, economic isolation and sovereignty violations by Western-aligned African states, and endless slander from Western and Western-aligned media. Despite these externally-imposed challenges, they have each continued to record economic and political wins. All 3 AES members have pointed to former colonizer France as a key sponsor of t£rror in the region – a claim which has been corroborated by their international allies – and France itself has made no bones about its intentions to revive its dwindling influence in Africa, and in so doing, shore up its presently crumbling economy.

'SAHEL REBIRTH A REVOLUTIONARY PROCESS' - FRED M'MEMBE The military takeovers in Africa’s Sahel region are not just coups d’état but revolutionary processes that aim to transform the arid area south of the Sahara Desert. That's according to Fred M'membe (Fred M'membe on X), president of the Socialist Party of Zambia (Socialist Party Zambia on X). He made these remarks in Niamey, Niger, at the 'Conference in Solidarity with the Peoples of the Sahel.’ M'membe argued that many of Africa's so-called elections are, in reality, sham processes devoid of a meaningful agenda other than the acquisition of power by bribing voters. He showered praise on the Sahel’s trio of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger for their people-driven overthrow of neocolonialism. For instance, following the overthrow of Nigerien President Mohamed Bazoum on 26 July 2023, thousands of people took to the streets to demand the exit of French troops and diplomatic personnel, even besieging French installations. Meanwhile, South Africa's 29 May elections resulted in a unity government that merged the African National Congress (ANC) with the Democratic Alliance (DA), a party representing the interests of apartheid-era ‘old money.' Over in the Sahel, on 6 July, Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger established the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) confederation, an anti-imperialist bloc sharing economic, defence and foreign policies, with an eye on creating a federation and eventually uniting Africa. Do you agree with M'membe's assessment? Video credit: Pan African Television (Pan African TV on X)

🛑 Burkina Faso 🇧🇫, Mali 🇲🇱 and Niger 🇳🇪 put their three armies on maximum alert 🚨. The AES has rejected the extended time that Ecowas - Cedeao has decreed for their official withdrawal. They also state that the College of Heads of State of the AES notes with regret that within ECOWAS, destabilization maneuvers are regularly initiated by a handful of Heads of State who impose their wishes and foreign agendas on the rest of the organization. In addition to these activities, there are operations to reorganize and regroup terrorist groups in the Lake Chad Basin, in the Sahel and in certain border areas, namely: Niger-Nigeria: Niger-Benin: Niger-Burkinn: Benin-Burkina. These receive various forms of support from foreign states, including financial and logistical resources, aimed at destabilizing the AES. Given the seriousness of these ends, the College of Heads of State of the Confederation: 1. Decides to place the defense and security forces on maximum alert; 2. Decides to make the confederal space a single theater of military operations, coexisting with the current national military theaters; 3. Calls on the populations of the AES to redouble their vigilance; to systematically denounce any suspicious act to the security forces; and to reject proposals for enlistment in terrorist groups. The College of Heads of State reiterates its commitment to pursue with determination the fight of the People of the AES for their true sovereignty and dignity.
