Yesterday, in Abuja, we launched the Nigeria AI Collective - a community of practice bringing together expertise from civil society, academic, tech, and other sectors working together to advance Artificial Intelligence in Nigeria and ensure its safe and ethical use, for the good of all in society. The collective is backed by several partners including Luminate who are committing $1.5million to support Nigeria’s effort towards developing our AI ecosystem.

The Vice President will join other Heads of State and Government from the African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU) for the 7th meeting of the two bodies, scheduled to take place from November 24 to 25, 2025, in the Angolan capital, Luanda.
