My own is why is he wearing Nnamdi Kanu’s Fendi

While he offers a persuasive argument, the decision ultimately lies with the individual and their disposable income. It is worth considering, however, that his views align with those of the majority of people who are not extremely wealthy. For clarity, financial sustainability refers to the ability to generate a positive return on investment. The difference lies in the fact that houses in the USA are often seen as a worthwhile investment for foreigners, with the expectation of a profitable sale in the future. In Nigeria, it is common to build a house with the intention of living in it for generations, passing it down to surviving family members as an inheritance. In almost all cases, you want to build a statement house in your hometown. Through the lens of a business sense, his points resonate. Investing N100m-N500m in building a house in one's hometown is only sensible if the person lives in that country. If you invest the N500m equivalent in Dollars in Real Estate in the USA, you can grow your business and generate passive income in a foreign currency. By leveraging the FX rate, you can most likely generate greater financial returns over time by investing in Real Estate that appreciate in value in foreign currency, rather than spending huge naira on a home that does not generate income and is not occupied for a significant portion of the year. As he suggests, if the current state of FX remains unchanged and you are based in the US, purchasing a house in the US is a more advantageous option. You can always choose to sell it and construct your ideal house back home in the future if necessary. This is why financial plans are tailored to individual needs and goals. Experts customize these plans to align with individual financial aspirations. If you require financial guidance, I can offer it to you at no cost, time permitting.

I agree with him. You can also do what you gotta do in Nigeria but I think it doesn’t make sense to pay rent here for 30 years when you can pay that towards mortgage and own the property after 30 years. Once you’re able to, pls do.

He is absolutely right. It has worked and is still working for us.

He said the truth. But I will also invest in Nigeria heavily because one of my fears is that if one invests everything in a place like America and has a devastating divorce, one might be wrecked for life. I will be doing that back home for backup as O gwaa O.

Absolutely truth. My friends will be staying in apartments that doesn’t look good but build magnificent houses in Nigeria that they won’t stay in often.

True talk, but don't enter it if you are sure you can't keep or maintain it. It's a huge investment you want to venture VERY CAREFULLY cos if you miss payment for too long....OTILO! NO REFUND. So think of something you can afford even if you don't have tenants.

Na to do rent to own, or purchase (on a mortgage) and let/do Airbnb, etc.

I always disagree with his thought. Paying off your mortgage early saves you a lot of money in interest and in mortgage insurance. If you have cash to buy a house in America, it’s better for you. You can sale your house anytime you want. His advice is misleading.

Simple cutting of spending can build you a very big nice house in Nigeria. Building a house in Nigeria should not affect your plans of owning one in America.
