@jermainedupri JD is correct. Kids are more connected to the music than you think especially with IG, TikTok etc. Sexxy Red new song is talking about “we go together” bruh kids say that, not adults.

@jermainedupri There are festivals for Red & Meth. Roots PicNic, Blue Note Jazz, etc. the exact opposite happened to Gunna at the Roots picnic. That was not his demo. Gunna came on the main stage after Babyface and that was not the look.

@jermainedupri JD cooked the entire time. @HOT97 needs to find a way to make a two day show. One day for young folks & one day for legacy hip hop. Trying to mix the two ain’t it. That’s how a great artist like Drake gets booed when the people wanted Frank. Perform for your core audience

@jermainedupri Wow has never seem this out of touch before. This conversation did not help his case in being in tune with today’s state of Hip-Hop. I agree with JD 100%. Having a two day event for different eras make more sense in NY out of all places.
