Night drives are the best

We made it to Fredericksburg, another German town in Texas! 🇺🇸🇩🇪 The drive here was quite special because we saw hundreds of deer along the road.

They are, but seriously, be careful of the deer, they are starting to go into rut, and with the weather change, it can get crazy. If you’ve wondered why a lot of trucks have those big grille guards mounted on the front, that’s a big reason. I traveled back one night from West Texas through the Hill Country going 40 miles an hour because of the deer, big red splotches all over the road, deer everywhere.

Be on the lookout for deer! 🦌 Their huffs are razor sharp. They can damage a car or injury a person! Be safe Freddy and Friends!!

300 lb feral pigs will run out in front of you and really mess your car uo. Pro tip-if I deer runs out in the road, there’s usually a bunch more right behind them. SLOW DOEN!

Night drives are especially great in the Hill Country. I've spent many nights as the driver through those hills. The deer can sneak up on you at night, though.

This time of year you are lucky to avoid impact with deer. Just a day ago, I counted at least 5 deer (what I assumed were 2 does and their fawns) crossing the road about 200 yard ahead of us.
