@AnthonyStorms7 Ironically the magnificent @horsevault posted this just last week Templegate Hurdle at 3.15 btw Another point was that NN was almost top class over fences too, nearly being the first to win both the Champion Hurdle & Gold Cup (2nd 1981)

What a wonderful film of a wonderful horse, from a great era of hurdlers and chases. I saw all his Champions Hurdles and so close effort in the Gold Cup.
