NiGHTs is misunderstood because most people don’t understand it is a score attack game. Kinda Segas fault for putting it up against Mario 64 and marketing it like a platformer.

Yeah I remember as a kid going to the NiGHTS kiosk in Toys r Us and I ran around as a kid not knowing wtf I was supposed to do. I may have been a Saturn kid if I only knew! Instead Mario 64 right next to it got my attention lol

I know its possible to "beat" that pinball machine in SA1 by getting all the glowing orb thingies into the shrine that NiGHTS is in but I could never do it! I've gotten a few before but I have no idea how. ._.

One of the most brilliant games ever made. The only one I think is worthy of a perfect 10 rating. Fast paced-yet whimsical score attack gameplay mixed with an emotional sucker punch at the end. You can get it for free on Steam right now too.

Right on! So you fly around collecting blue orbs and you fly into a metroid looking thing to collect a glowing orb and you enter the shrine to continue but if you fly over the shrine and continue you earn more points! But you risk running out of time. It's so fun and surreal!
