My son wanted to go plane spotting yesterday, and we definitely lucked out! We got to see six F-22s and one F-35 take off from Honolulu International Airport—and the best part was they all took off one right after another! Seven fighters launching back-to-back made it an incredible sight. Seeing the huge smile on my son’s face—and then listening to him talk about it for hours afterward—was awesome. Those are the father-son moments you don’t forget. Of course, I might have had a little selfish motivation for going plane spotting too. I mean, who doesn’t love watching F-22s do a Hang 10 departure off the Reef Runway?! Six F-22s, one F-35, all launching one after another, the Reef Runway, and one very happy kid. I’d say we picked a pretty awesome day to go plane spotting! 🤙🏼 The video was taken on my phone and the pics are what he took on his camera.

Five people were killed in a plane crash south of Austin, Texas last night. The only question I have is who was on that plane? (7 out of 10) Preliminary flight data found that the plane took off from Amarillo, Texas, which is about 420 miles northwest of the crash area, and was in the air for almost two hours before it crashed. You can see on flight radar 24 the plane taking off heads west towards the ocean does some strange maneuvers and drops off the radar. Story is still developing. Coast Guard is searching for the crashed aircraft.
