(long clip & transcription โ€ผ๏ธ) ๐ŸŽญ: if i was asked one year ago if i wanted to perform in Concerto, i would've said no. there was a different kind of event that i was asked if i would like to participate and i actually said no to it. because up until recently like a few months ago, i had extremely bad imposter syndrome. ๐ŸŽญ: i didn't feel like i deserved to stand on stage, i didn't feel like i was ready and i kept doubting myself and was like "there's no way i would be able to perform to people's standards and stuff" so i politely declined being in an event a long time ago. ๐ŸŽญ: this time for Concerto when i was asked to participate, i was thinking of the same thing too but i thought about it a little more. i thought to myself like "if you're not gonna participate now then when are you going to do it? if you keep saying no to all these opportunities, they're all going to slip past." so i keep telling myself, "if you're gonna do it now then when are you going to do it?" ๐ŸŽญ: and i was inspired a little by my recent short covers and dance covers because ive been planning to release them for quite a long time actually. just the thought of that made me think, "i'm trying to work so hard on these other things so why don't i just try to do this as well?" ๐ŸŽญ: so i finally decided that i'm going to try this time to step up on stage and i want to be the proof to everyone that works hard that if you work hard eventually something good will come your way ๐ŸŽญ: i want everyone to be able to look at me and be like, "if he can work hard and do what he wants to do, then i can do it too." i think that's one of the biggest reasons i decided to participate and stand on this stage is because i want to inspire people because i came from nothing ๐ŸŽญ: i had no singing experience, no dancing experience, no japanese experience. when i first joined, i didn't even know how to read hiragana very well. i didn't even know wtf katakana was ๐ŸŽญ: i'm always thankful for the love and support everyone gives me. if it wasn't for you guys, i would really have said no so thank you. i really owe everything to all of you that always around and always supporting #knoxclips thank you for not giving up!!!! ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿงก

(about Concerto) ๐Ÿ”—: and i'm just so proud of ๐ŸŽญ. oh my god, i cant believe- oh god. if i was in his place, i'd be shaking in my boots. thinking back to when we first debuted, he had very little experience with JP and also with singing, dancing and performing. me too honestly, but i wanna say even more so for ๐ŸŽญ ๐Ÿ”—: seeing where he started from and seeing him up there on the stage, performing with so much improvement, so much confidence, so much talent, it made me so proud of him. oh my god. ๐Ÿ”—: it's such a huge opportunity, it's a lot of pressure to be in that position; you can't speak the language that well working with this team and all the staff's communication would've been pretty complex JP, coordinating with other members in pure JP, getting up there on the big stage in front of thousands of people and more watching online as well, it's insane how much balls that takes so i'm so proud of him. ๐Ÿ”—: he did so well and he sounds amazing. all his songs sounded so good, i'm so proud of his improvement when he's singing. the technique, you can feel it, tangibly. i didn't know he could do that, what the fuck? www ๐Ÿ”—: i've had a number of moments like that whenever i listened to ๐ŸŽญ's performances . even some of that we've done together like, "bro, what the fuck? where did that come from?" but it happened again this time. it was really, really good. ๐Ÿ”—: his solo was beautiful, Fireโ—ŽFlower. just pure, pure, given everyone that pure genki energy that we love him for. so proud. my little bro. alburn, albernon, albarun, wwww he's come so far.
