Honestly hard to argue with the viewer experience vs something like ARC Raiders, but do think the map/lore building potential with Marathon is >>> Have had tons of fun watching Cryo so far

“When shroud plays any other game he pulls +10k” Im not trying to say marathon is a super popular game but his point just isn’t good.

Checked Shrouds stream rn. He’s playing Marathon and has 15,600 viewers so…maybe it’s not all about the game lol.

Ninja explains that he doesnt play games on stream that he enjoys, he plays games that will result in the maximum amount of viewership.

so nothing about the game...just his weak ass fan base making him unsufferable as well, these mfs takes should never be taken serious when it comes to actual great games.

He enjoys solos? I find that the weakest part unless playing rook

Ninja is washed though. His opinions on this game mean literally 0

He's still talking about Marathon? lol

It def does look like a special needs class room😂😂

Nobody wants to watch competitive bs. And when it comes to Marathon its just a game more than it is fun to watch someone play it, if that makes sense. I think video games in general are overwhelmingly a waste of time spent playing than what you get rewarded for the time spent, especially even as a viewer.

He masks his streaming motivations as "Marathon is not enjoyable to watch" but it's really about view metrics. He is chasing what is trending, and that doesn't translate to a new game, only what is popular.

It's really fun to watch and solo is the worst part LMAO

Marathon is something I thought I’d never even try watching peanut play it. Had a few beverages one night, spent the 40 bucks, and now I can’t stop playing it. It’s an incredible game and it’s so much deeper than Arc Raiders. Wish it didn’t get so much hate 🤷🏻♂️

Marathon is honestly fire, I feel bad for anybody who hasn't gave it a chance n decided it was bad before they did, game is so dope, not sure if it's a Bungie hate thing, which I don't get, or arc shills, which is insane bc arc is so mid lol I don't get it, play what you want

This is the dumbest excuse ever. Bro is pro Fortnite ,the bag just ain't heavy enough, that's all it is.

The more people that play the game instead of giving into the minority hating on it, they more people will watch it. Also, when peanut isn't on, Marathon normally has the same or more viewer on twitch that Arc Raiders lmao

I actually agree. Watching isn’t nearly as fun as playing it

I'm the opposite. I don't like extraction shooters, but enjoy watching.

"All the bright colors..."

It's sad to think that in the near future, everything will be based on engagement metrics or something like that—in the end, we'll just be scrolling through games like TikTok, but with short games and experiences.

Well. All his homies are playing on twitch today and Shroud has 16k viewers currently so 🤷🏼♂️

Bingo

He’s not wrong.

nah, I love watching Marathon.

Described the problem with today’s gaming in a nutshell. Everyone is worried about view counts/player counts instead of what’s fun

Ofc the viewer will not enjoy if you suck at it.

It's like watching a ROBLOX game.

Sure sure sure

Aka won't make me more money as another game so cry.

It’s almost like hardcore extraction shooters are a niche genre, and people don’t like to watch or play stressful games

Yap yap yap

I almost respected the guy until i saw this yesterday.

Go stream more games for children then if your cocomelon ass audience needs to stim more.

Meh, thats a weak take.

Multi-millionaire streamer choosing to play arguably the worst extraction shooter because of potential to lose some viewers is insane to me
