I blame GoW 2018 for the popularization of the "cinematic" over the shoulder camera. A zoomed out camera works a lot better.

That is really one of my main gripes with Wolverine's combat. That terrible camera. It's just too damn close. Makes it hard to focus when you have so many enemies running at you from all corners.

Mortal Shell 2 did it best where it let's you choose between a cinematic camera and a classic one.

Comparing Wolverine and literally any action game would be wildly unfair, ESPECIALLY Ninja Gaiden 2. Like comparing a fart and a diamond

honestly the character action route where directional input, and timing combined with multiple button presses produced varying unique combo strings was what I hoped for with wolverine. but i knew it was too much to hope for.

Not only the combat is better, but gore as well - no idea how you can fuck up Wolverine this bad.
