Ninja Gaiden has always had combos, since the very first 3D game of the series. 🥷 Combos and juggles are part of the core identity of its combat system. Of course, enemies will do everything they can to keep you from landing them and force you to think at surviving mostly, but that’s the beauty of Ninja Gaiden. As a wise person once said: “A good player knows when it’s time to try-hard, and when it’s time to have fun being fancy and stylish.” 😌 It’s funny how, in this whole combo hating discussion, Ninja Gaiden players got labeled as “combo haters,” when in reality, it’s just a small, loud minority being too close-minded to appreciate creativity and player expression. Yes, Ninja Gaiden is mostly about efficiency, but it also hides tons of depth and player expression, evolving through each sequel; the combat kept growing deeper and deeper, reaching its peak with Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Peak. 🔥

HOLY SHIT!!! YOU'RE RIGHT! I slowed it down and you see it! Ryu does the Guillotine throw in the new Ninja Gaiden 4 clip and he hits another enemy with it and the other enemy got knocked down into a rolling tumbling animation Gave Ryu time to chase after it! That's so sick!

I finished Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, found all collectibles, and completed all the secret bonus stages. My honest review: -The combat system is incredibly smooth and elegant -Every move is fully controllable, jumps are precise, and combat is fast and brutal -The default difficulty feels perfectly balanced – challenging but never unfair -Checkpoints are well-placed: you’re never set too far back, and respawning is immediate -The level design is diverse and creative, often ending in tough, sometimes screen-filling boss fights -Boss fights are true highlights – intense, demanding, and incredibly satisfying -After a while, I fell into a pure "destruction flow": anticipating enemy moves, zoning out, fully immersed -The level design contributes massively to this feeling – thoughtful, tight, and perfectly tuned -The pixel art is among the best I’ve ever seen – fluid, rich in detail, and beautifully animated -The sound design is equally impressive – the clash of blades sounds absolutely satisfying -On top of that, the soundtrack is a total banger – easily one of my favorite soundtracks of the year -The overworld is clean and intuitive, showing you clearly which levels you’ve completed and what collectibles are still missing -Long-time Ninja Gaiden fans will spot several clever nods to earlier entries -Action-packed set pieces break up the gameplay and add cinematic flair – a touch I really appreciated -The ability to switch characters in certain situations adds variety and depth to the gameplay -The normal difficulty is, in my opinion, perfectly tuned – but for those craving more, there’s a hard mode -On hard difficulty, enemy placement, level layout, and boss arenas are reworked to push your skills even further -Beating levels on hard was seriously tough – but the satisfaction of overcoming them was unmatched -Technically, the game runs flawlessly – I didn’t encounter a single bug throughout my entire playthrough -The secret and bonus stages are very well hidden and genuinely fun to search for -Collectibles can be used in a shop to buy new gear, talismans, and upgrades -However, I didn’t find the talismans particularly impactful – they didn’t change the gameplay much for me -I just wanted more – more levels, more content – but that’s just nitpicking Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is unquestionably one of the best indie games of the year and my favorite title from The Game Kitchen, which says a lot. Ninja Gaiden 2D returns with a bang and continues the Year of the Ninja in spectacular fashion — a comeback we won’t be forgetting anytime soon. Updates: - Added camera zooms during finishing moves. - Improved blood decals. - Blood streams now have audio and continue to spray from ragdolls. Still need to add camera offset so it can follow the action better and be unique to each animation, but this is a good start. Already feels so much less rigid than keeping the cam further out and since the player isn't running around during these moments there's no need to worry about not being able to see your surroundings as much. Hari ni aku nampak beberapa kali kemalangan macam ni hampir terjadi. Atas highway, bila speed dah tinggi, kau perlu lebih banyak ruang nak berhenti. Kalau kau tak nampak 3-4 kereta kat depan, kau expect kau ada reaction time sepantas ninja ka? Kalau ada pun, kereta kau tak ada brek mcm F1 nak berhenti dalam masa sesingkat tu. So duduk la jauh jauh, tak payah la nak cucuk cucuk sokmo. Kau cucuk dua tiga kereta, dia ke tepi. Depan kau nanti ada 30-40 kereta lembab, buat penat kau je. Duduk tepi, bawak chill chill sambil layan Podcast Tekan Habis, settle!

January 2, right at 3 months ago, Fred Kerley had his ribs broken while being beat by Miami Police Officers. He had his teeth knocked out as well. Then was pretty much banned from his house and hasn’t been able to go back. He wasn’t able to train the whole month of January. He hit the track mid Feb, still not able to breathe properly cause of his ribs. But y’all on Twitter talking forgetting that. Ok we’ll get your teeth knocked in, ribs broken, tased, and then in 7 weeks go line up and race. Half of y’all wouldn’t even be able to move for the next year. I say it all of the time. Some of y’all just dumb. So when real ninjas be like “we don’t f*** with them track ninjas. We just run track”….this what we be talking about. Only a track ninja or a community of track ninjas would watch a man get beat by the police and then try and flame him for not running “fast” just 3 months later 😂. Y’all are some heartless sick individuals. That’s all 😂. Real ninjas who run track feel everything I just said, cause they get it. Track ninjas gone have some to say back to me that’s the opposite cause they don’t understand.
