Nintendo released a new trailer recapping Switch game enhancements on Switch 2. The Fire Emblem and Xenoblade games are what I'd like to see in 2026.

Honestly big facts. I would love nothing more than for them to upgrade Xenoblade and fire emblem. I know people don't play them as much as their other franchises but I'm ngl id prefer those over Mario and Zelda tbh

Xenoblade enhancement can’t come soon enough. I loved the first one so much that I refused to beat it at sub 720p/30! I need 1080/60 at least! I even bought the other two just in case haha

2026 is not looking good for the Switch 2. Maybe in 2028 we'll see some new games? This whole console is a bummer.

I hope to see all the Pikmin games get a resolution boost, especially for handheld!

I really hope we get another wave of free performance updates similar to the one we got at launch, honestly having Switch games run better has been one of my favorite things about the Switch 2, and I really hope Nintendo gives updates to as many of their games as they can

All games that actually worked fine (except Pokémon Scarlet) are getting improvements but games like Hyrule Warriors Age of calamity which runs like dogshit doesn't get any improvements.

Hopefully Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Yoshi Craft. Followed by Thousand Year Door and Skyward Sword

I hope they keep doing these free updates and upgrade packs are reserved for bigger enhancements

Yet, some of the titles like the Xenoblade Chronicles series, Persona 5 Royal & Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity runs piss poor on Switch 2. People paid $450 w/tax for what? 🤭 😂 PS4 games runs better on PS5. That’s embarrassing!

I wouldn't hold my breath when it comes to enhancements. Nintendo seems more focused on re-selling "Switch 2 Editions" at inflated prices rather than giving us free upgrades for existing Switch 1 games.
