Nintendo released new Metroid Prime 4 footage called "Sylux Attacks"

Prediction: I'll go out on a limb and say Metroid Prime 4 is not the big November game for Switch 2. It's a big game for Metroid fans, but I'm not convinced it will be a breakout hit for the franchise in general. I could see it landing in August/September.

Really wish we had gotten 2 & 3 on Switch also Hunters ported so that people know who Sylux is.

It took Sylux 18 years to catch up to Samus after the end of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Crazy to think Metroid Prime 3 was about a generation ago. Not a game console generation. A human generation. That's ridiculous.

Is it just me, or nintendo being extra picky with what they show off from their games? Besides MK World, they’ve only showed the tutorial area of prime 4, and the tutorial + half-tutorial first zone of Bananaza even though it comes out in 2 months, goes for the kirby dlc as well

Nintendo should have launched the console with this game alongside Mario Kart World. To attract new audiences to the Metroid IP, it needs the excitement of a launch title. People are more likely to try unfamiliar games at a console's launch, when they're eager to explore new experiences.
