There is no transition or lag. It just happens. I used it both for Metroid, Drag x Drive and Civilization and it just works.

When I played it it really felt like this!

....so like me on PC with a Controller and just simply moving my Mouse and the game automatically switches to M/KB mode? Nintendo...making dated and/or mundane, ordinary things seem like new, shiny things to their hardcore fanbase.

Awesome. Some people acting unimpressed but this was something I was hoping to see confirmed. I do hope for a 3rd party mouse though, I'd rather have a mouse at the ready while using controller like I do with some PC games.
