Nintendo Switch 2 and the lack of "innovation"

The Switch itself is innovation. Nintendo is the only company willing to step out the box

People forget there was no big leap or gimmick in design for the NES to the N64. Yeah, graphics improved, but not surprise gimmick. The Switch is damn close to beating the PS2 in sales. Why would Nintendo mess with success? Just make a better Switch and rake in the money.

All I'm looking for from Nintendo is good games. Better performance is guaranteed. And if it's strong enough to run third party games, then that's going to be the go-to option for the casual market that isn't buying a Steam Deck, ROG Ally, or another handheld PC.

I think everyone is just prematurely making opinions on it and we know absolutely nothing. It could have some gimmick that we don’t even know about. People are just going off the looks of the console. I’d guess there is something that makes it purely Nintendo.

In regards to what you’re saying, this is 100% correct because we are now in an era of diminishing returns and it is very beneficial to just improve what they have going for them with the switch a massive case of if it ain’t broke don’t fix it

It’s a clear case of I’ll say anything if I can hear myself talk. It looks great, there’s more info coming, and it’s more powerful that an OG Switch—MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

If you right, you right. And in this case you are 💯 right.

Would this be a conversation still if the leaks didn’t get release nothing really leaves to the imagination anymore. And what are the hardware specs just rumours at this point

I'm good with a more powerful switch. Unfortunately the one game they showed looked like a switch 1 game.
