Nkosingiphile Ngcobo was always poised to play an important role in the team from pre-season. He was central to many of the positive aspects of our play during pre-season. Although he didn’t start the season as a key member of the team and wasn’t used effectively in the early stages, the recent tactical evolution within the club has once again positioned him as a key element in the team’s playing structure. Mshini has to play this season with a level of intensity that demands both physical and mental resilience. It’s encouraging to see his commitment to improving his fitness. His dedication to extra work beyond club training remains consistent, even after years of mixed fortunes in terms of game time. Despite limited opportunities, he has continued to focus on refining his physicality, fitness, and conditioning. This season will demand even more from him, but it’s reassuring to see his determination to stay sharp, look good, and be ready whenever the team requires him. I genuinely appreciate the continued work Bukhosi Nyoni is doing with him from the time Mshini was making waves as a youngster in the CAFCL to this day — it shows a positive relationship beyond football and a clear intent to elevate his game and sustain his readiness for top-level competition. He continues to take good care of the ball in that engine room, and this version of Mshini looks highly competitive and confident. ❤️✌🏾

This guy’s story is almost identical to mine. He started as a crossdresser and it escalated into full blown transition late in life. And rather than transition improving his mental health, it’s made him an emotional neurotic mess who’s more dysphoric than ever and constantly self-conscious about whether he passes as a woman. Moreover, this lifestyle choice destroyed his relationship with his family because he’s predicated his happiness on convincing his family that he is something he’s not. This is not a recipe for “authenticity.” This is not “lifesaving healthcare.” Literally the only benefit he’s gotten from transition is that when he’s all dolled up and looks in the mirror he feels a rush of euphoria at how “hot” he looks. Fellas with AGP, I can tell you that rush of euphoria is not worth destroying your life and making you a neurotic mess.

A+ Dad! Earlier this week I wrote about the importance of “agency” - or allowing children to make choices for themselves. Today, along comes this fantastic example. What I love about this dad is that he’s laying the groundwork for this very thing - even before his daughter is expressing strong preferences of her own. He’s selected two potential outfits and talks our hero through each option - conveying the message that she is capable of making her own decisions, and that he will honor them. But that’s not all. Listen to the way he describes each. To all the extra vocabulary he exposes her to. And to the warm and happy tone he uses as she looks on adoringly. The whole episode might have taken 30 seconds longer than if he had simply picked an outfit and dressed her… but look at all that was gained by his attentive and interactive approach. So this guy killed his ex girlfriend. He then gave an update via Facebook live before killing his ex wife. He then took his own life. But here’s where it gets interesting and you start sympathizing with the entire crashout. The more I delved into this situation the more it looks like his exes were teaming up to ruin his life and get custody of his kids, which he had at the time of the incident. It all started going downhill when his ex wife filed multiple domestic violence complaints to try and manipulate the custody situation. ALL OF THEM were dismissed. From there, what I gather, the ex girlfriend AND his ex wife ALLEGEDLY concocted an idea to claim he fondled his children in an attempt to get things working in their favor. Witnesses familiar with his exes alleged that they were lying and the man hadn’t done anything wrong. By this point the man had had enough and snapped. (The kids were unharmed and were immediately found safe in his BMW nearby. They didn’t see or hear the incident.) I’m not condoning anything, but don’t play with a man like that.

#LeeJunho opened up about his dad 🥹 He used to be a sailor/navigator, so he was often away for months at a time when Junho was growing up. Because of that, Junho didn’t get to spend much time with him until after his father stopped sailing and became a civil servant. But the dynamics after different when it’s teenage years and so much times’ passed. This year, Junho had to pay attention to his dads’ health.🥹He kept thinking how is it that, so strangely, at this moment when I’m acting, a trial like this comes to me? Why would a hardship like this come to my dad? Thoughts like that kept coming up, and it really wasn’t easy. So during scenes about Taepoongs’ appa, felt kind of like a kind of confession to himself. And so he was even more immersed in the character. 😭

The scene in The Batman where he first emerges from the shadows and beats up the thugs in the train station was inspired by Goodfellas - specifically the moment where Henry Hill pistol-whips his neighbor. Matt Reeves explains: "I wanted that moment where he says “I'm Vengeance” and Rob comes out and you see him as this Batman for the first time, I wanted it to be like that moment, a shocking moment, in Goodfellas when Henry Hill…the neighbour has assaulted Karen who he's dating, and he gets so angry you see him drive up across the street from the neighbour. He gets out of the car, they look at him coming, and he takes out his revolver, and he beats this guy senselessly. It's shocking, and at that moment you realize the depth of his rage, and just how dangerous he can be. So I wanted Batman at this stage of the movie to kind of shock the audience, and for people to say like “Okay well what kind of Batman is this?” and to see that he was a Batman who acted from this very visceral personal point of view - that this was all about vengeance." I've got enough experience doing this to know that it's probably going to be weeks rather than months for Mr. Atlas. Our wonderful house dog at Happy Doggo has had two huge operations and we've given him every chance imaginable. I've just noticed in the past few days that his energy levels have dropped. He's taken an extra hour in his bed. He's having longer lounges on the couch. His energy has dipped and his eyes are just that little bit cloudy. that has all been confirmed by blood work and lots of different tests. We are a rescue and ultimately we're judged on how many dogs we can save. I always knew that it would be a quality of life thing with Atlas and that ultimately we would not be able to give him a long life. I do happen to believe, though, that the work we do in making these dogs happy at the end of their lives is just as important as anything else we do at scale. Atlas is still at that stage where he has great spurts of energy and goes on walks and looks for attention from all his favorite humans. We'll wrap him up in cotton wool, pamper him, shower him in love and get him all the meds he can have. No stone will go unturned to make sure Atlas continues to live his dream life while he can. I always say that dogs live in the moment. Atlas can't remember his horrid times on the streets or his massive tumor that he carried around for years. All he knows is the love, attention, great food, and wonderful life he will have today. Every other day will be a bonus and we’ll be with him every step of the way ❤️

I got so uncomfortable watching this video, you guys might not agree with me but this artist really needs to focus on his own solo stages and stop clout chasing off Yoongi non-stop. Real friends know where to draw the line and shouldn't take advantage of their friendship like this. Suga has plenty of close friends, but that doesn't give anyone a free pass to keep using his name for attention. I've seen this singer bring up Yoongi way too many times during his solo tour. He seriously needs to stick to his own art. Yoongi is literally too kind for this, he doesn't deserve it. 😔

Part 1: I have never zoomed in on their faces in the last KTV moment. Because I would just cry watching that last video. But I decided to do it today and my heart just broke more. The silence between them was sad but their faces and little thing they do? More sad, more heartbreaking. Yueyue looks like he will cry at any moment, the more he looks at his man the more his nose flares up, the more his fingers play with his Adam's apple, the more he tries to look up and blink each time. And Leizi...I can't make out his eyes but I know it's an unblocking stare at his moon in front of him. The more he looks, the more he anxiously bites his lips, the more he takes big gulps, the more his breathing deepens and the more his chest heaves. Now they are married and having a great time in their beijing apartment with their 3 kids but I cannot imagine what this moment felt for them. And I hope they never feel it again. Only warm cuddles and hugs and kisses to one another. (Part 2 will be me zooming in on the last scene where yueyue sings his heart out~ Don't kill me!)
