Always have to smile how raw Nirvana was playing live. The albums are amazing and very accessible but the truth is these guys were punk/thrash as fuck.

It was before COVID, and at that time, we performed with about half as many people as we have today. Today, is it 88,000 people? Out of all our remaining tour stops, I think this is going to be one of the biggest crowds and one of the hottest. You were all amazing. Thank you so much. Thank you for enjoying the show so much. I came to Newfoundland & Labrador with my band Flirt some 40 years ago - it was my first ever tour of the East Coast and my first ever time away from home. During that tour I met Gloria, a local girl who took care of me and showed me around and last night, all these years later, we were reunited ❤️ The hospitality and sentiment of Newfies is unmatched - thank you for, once again, showing me such a warm welcome! 🫶
