Yes and they've had them for years. Metro-North just got a new laser train to replace their water spray train

Reminds me of the track cleaning train the model rr uses, its a heavy ass tank car full of cleaning fluid and most the weight rests on a pad on the tracks, gave metal pickerupers and dusters on both ends too
