There is a place in our Nation's Capitol where silence does the speaking, where a single post is kept without pause, in heat, in cold, in storm, by sentinels who march not for applause, but for honor. Beneath that sacred stone rests not one man, nor one battle, but every warrior whose life was given in defense of liberty, yet whose name history could not record. No rank. No medals. Only a Nation's eternal promise, "you will not be forgotten." On this Veterans Day Weekend, that promise extends to all who have ever worn the uniform, those known and unknown, those who returned home and those who rest forever on distant soil, those whose names we read aloud and those carried only in the hearts of their families. It reminds us that the worth of a Soldier is not measured by the praise he receives, but by the sacrifice he renders. For liberty is not secured by proclamations or public display, but by those steadfast souls who laid down their own tomorrows, that their fellow citizens might yet inherit the blessings of a free and sovereign people. As citizens of the Republic they died to defend, our duty is clear to ensure that the Nation they served remains one worthy of defending. I have no doubt that Ukraine will win. Fellow Ukrainians, we should all have self-confidence. I am proud of everyone who fights for Ukraine, destroys the occupiers, and retakes our positions. I am proud of those who are currently serving in the trenches and combat posts, those who are training our warriors, and those who are producing arms, ammunition, and equipment for Ukraine. I am proud of those educating our minors, treating people and rescuing them after strikes, providing normal life to our cities, and giving us power. I am proud of everyone who gives us confidence—our parents and our children; those who love us; those who pray for us and our victory; and those helping us from every corner of the world. I am proud of those who survived cellar and occupation, but have not given up. Proud of all those who make every effort every day to liberate Ukraine and Ukrainians from Russian captivity. I am proud of you, the people of Ukraine! I am proud of you, the Ukrainian warrior!

They murdered our children, our parents, our journalists, our medics, and they believed fear would accomplish what decades of war could not. Today, the answer came from Dahiyeh (Beirut Suburbs). Not hundreds. Not thousands. But a sea of humanity, well over a hundred thousand souls, filling the streets to commemorate Imam Hussein (AS), the eternal symbol of dignity in the face of tyranny. This is what the enemies of Lebanon will never understand. You can destroy buildings, but you cannot destroy belief. You can assassinate leaders, but you cannot assassinate a cause. You can rain bombs upon our cities, but you will never extinguish the spirit of Karbala. Every black banner raised today declared that Hussein's revolution is alive. Every step taken by these mourners proclaimed that oppression, no matter how heavily armed, will never triumph over a people who have embraced sacrifice with open hearts.
