Thank you for your feedback on the engine I’ve been working on, I’m glad you liked it! As part of my progress, I’ve implemented 8-directional movement, an attack system, a user interface, animations, and a 3-hit combo. ToDo, jump attack and improving the enemy AI. damn its so easy to go from design -> code with Figma MCP + Claude Code. literally just one click of a button, and the code is ready! still a lot of polishing to do, but this has helped us make development ~50% faster 😁

There’s no one-size-fits-all for parenting, but here’s my take: no social media. I’m not surprised more governments are starting to do the same. But I’m not waiting for a law to make that call. If more of us just said “not yet,” it’d probably be a lot healthier for our kids.

been making a ton more progress with the first person animations for locomotion lately! there's now a full suite of idle/movement/jumping/falling animations, quick item switch animations, and some work-in-progress mining animations that are sped up based on the tool type!

Not happy with the depth on some of these reps. They're borderline. But 280lbs is a lot more than I was expecting to be squatting by this point. Happy with the progress. Keep pushing. Keep working. Here's to the start of a great week.

Been working towards doing 16 neutral grip pull ups for the past year and half. Definitely a challenge to stay consistent while travelling and no access to a gym to do these combined with a lot of catabolic sports (hiking, mountaineering). Overall happy with my progress.

Animators, do you like a rig that has the option for IK fingers? I'm learning more about rigging and have always wanted to have IK fingers on a rig. I decided to apply what I've learnt with the arms onto the fingers and I'm quite happy with the result.
