There is absolutely nothing purer in this world than the “Post-Vet Reward Trip.” He was the bravest boy for the doctor, so naturally, we had to stop by the store for a little prize. I told him he could pick out one toy. I was thinking a tennis ball or maybe a small squeaky toy... he clearly had bigger plans. I’m convinced dogs have no concept of their own size, yet they have a very precise understanding of exactly which plushie is the biggest one on the shelf. He didn’t just pick a toy; he picked a roommate. Watch him secure the bag (or in this case, the giant goose) and refuse to let go. That victory strut at the end? He knows he won. He’s now officially the proud owner of a toy that requires its own seatbelt. 10/10 bravery, 12/10 negotiation skills. Is your dog a "small toy" kind of pup or do they go full "giant plushie" mode?

Blackfiles videos are so good it made me realize that it doesn't make sense for me to spend a month on a 3d video anymore not because i can't or because i don't enjoy it... it's because ai does it better now i'm not bitter or resentfull about it... fuck, i still find joy in creating and i'll keep doing 3d for that feeling alone... but i can't fin a practical way in which this stuff is worth grinding months for? i'll just merge with AI, that's the way i'll find other creative things to do when i have free time, like growing a farm, or build a house for my dog or whatever... but no fucking way i am spending more than a month making a video anymore

Golfers... You have to be very careful when listening to tour players talk about their own feels & what they do during the golf swing Don't get me wrong, some are VERY good at explaining in detail what they are doing & feeling, but some don't actually have a clue. They are just VERY GOOD at golf & don't really know how they do it. This is a prime example where Tiger is saying he's not a "Spot Chipper", then on another video he says he likes hitting to a "Spot" So which one is it? Remember, these guys are ELITE at playing the game of golf & getting the ball in the hole in less shots than everyone else They are not always the best at accuratly articulating what they are really trying to do There was a video of Tiger a while back where he was saying the club head moves first in the golf swing... No it doesn't. There's a pressure shift into the trail side first... Tiger won with 4 different swings. He's just THAT GOOD We as coaches are the ones who explain things better than a tour pro. The tour pros job is to shoot low scores

François Truffaut on why he got more pleasure in directing a child actor than an adult in his debut film, "The 400 Blows" (1959): "To shoot a film with children is very enticing beforehand, entails a lot of panic while it is happening (because it is a fearsomely challenging business that is always slipping through one’s fingers), and is immensely satisfying afterwards. Even when I have a feeling that everything is going adrift, there is always something that is salvageable, and no matter what happens, it is always the child who comes across best on the screen. I also think that I get more pleasure from directing a child than an adult because I am just starting out as a director, whereas adults have already had experience at acting. I tend to be intimidated by their “seniority,” and when they don’t want to do what I tell them, I sometimes give up the struggle, or else allow myself to be pulled along when they do their thing, and I am never sure I’m right. A child’s sincerity is something I think I can feel absolutely. For example, through the whole length of the film, I had to wrestle with Jean-Pierre Léaud. He was terrific, but he was scared that he was going to come across as unlikeable, which meant that he continually wanted to smile. For three whole months I prevented him from smiling … and I’m sure I was right. That said, I was amazingly lucky to come across that kid. He was the character. Better still, he improved the film. I had been seeing Antoine as more fragile, more timid, less aggressive, whereas Jean-Pierre gave him his robustness, his truculence, his courage. He was an invaluable collaborator. He was able to find the right gestures spontaneously, he adjusted the script, always for the better, and he used the words that he wanted to use."
