SURPRISE! Meet our new little lady! 🐘🩶 Our Asian elephant herd has officially grown by one tiny trunk with the birth of a healthy baby girl – Bluebonnet’s first female calf (third overall) and Brazos’ little sister! This bundle of joy was born in the early morning hours of Monday, Aug. 18, to mom, Bluebonnet, the very first elephant calf born in the history of the Zoo back in 1998. Over the past month, our new little one has remained behind the scenes, bonding with mom and integrating into our multi-generational herd. And the best part? Today, she makes her debut on-habitat in Elephant Springs for all to see! (You can now see her daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting)🤗 The only thing this baby is missing is … a name! As is tradition, all of the elephant calves born here at the Zoo sport Texas-themed names, and for this one, we’re leaning in on the Texas flower-themed names, as a nod to mom, Bluebonnet.🥹 Read more about the name choices and vote for your favorite from now until Oct. 6: Welcome to the herd, little one! 🩶

Listen till the end. A foreigner understood the intricate difficulties of Governing India democratically much better than an average Indian born and brought up in India.

🐆 Why Is An Indian-Born Cheetah Giving Birth Such A Big Deal? Because this is no longer just about bringing cheetahs back to India. KGP12 was born in India - and is now producing cubs in the wild, a crucial sign that the species can reproduce and survive here naturally. India now has 52 cheetahs, 32 born on Indian soil.

A heart-pounding scene in Africa: Two white rhinos cautiously approach a tiny baby elephant, but the young elephant mom instantly switches to full-on "protect mode" – no one touches her baby! Just how terrifying can a mother's instinct be? 😤🐘

A female elephant sees a baby hippopotamus leave its herd and toddle off toward the lake to play. Knowing that crocodiles are lurking in the water, it tries to chase the baby hippo back to the safety of its group. 💖✨ When it meets the mother hippo, it’s basically like: “Please keep an eye on your child, ma’am hippo.” 😔

One of man’s duties on Earth….to look after God’s creations. That Land Cruiser did an amazing job. Toyota should add "can help pull an elephant from a sink hole" in their adds.😂 The elephant is so exhausted. So happy you could get him out. ❤️

There’s no better gift we can leave the next generation than an independent country that’s theirs to create in their own image. No one can govern our country better than the people of Scotland. Let’s not just believe in a better future for Scotland. Let’s make it happen.

An Asian elephant calf has been born at Whipsnade Zoo in the UK The baby was born to the elephant Donna after a 22-month pregnancy. This is not her first calf. The newborn weighs around 110 kg and stands less than one meter tall. The zoo says the birth is especially important because Asian elephants are endangered. Staff describe the arrival of the calf as “hope for the future of the species.”

The ‘Trump Accounts’ available to children thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill provide young Americans an excellent opportunity to invest in the private market, setting them up for better financial success than a Ponzi scheme like Social Security could ever do. E.J. Antoni, Ph.D.
