@TFG_Football Happens for Burns more than anyone. He’s not particularly high in pass rush win rate while not being doubled often.

@TFG_Football Being top 10 is good in general, it's even better when you consider how bad the secondary was. Also Burns is one of the most doubled edge rushers in the NFL.

ok to be fair burns has been a high pressure guy his whole career and never put up the sack numbers. this year he got the sacks he deserved despite less pressures, plus the giants already have dexter/abdul/thibs that did that job effectively.

This is why sacks are so volatile year to year. A lot of high sack guys are good but they get luckier one year or another and then have to regress back to the mean (or vice versa for down years). It’s rare that a pass rusher is actually good enough to be consistently up there.

Theres a couple lucky sacks in here by being at the right place at the right time n a lot are just having a motor n not giving up on the play
