It baffles me as a Brit. In WW2, we either attacked directly or helped others attack German targets including factories, transport infrastructure and Nazi officials. I believe the USA was completely with us on this at the time...

Makes no sense, the Ukrainian attacks on Russian energy infrastructure have minimal civilian casualties. It's as exact a scalpel can get.

He is right. Telling Ukraine not to bomb refineries while withholding aid is absolutely bonkers.

Oil and gas is definitely mixed use, far more so than electricity. They’ve also been very clean in their attacks and Russia still has the means to supply civilians, this just makes their war effort harder.
