A few years ago Jessi asked me if I would be interested in being her next co-host for the Bardown Beauties Podcast. People have always asked me how that came to be and this is how. I knew of Jessi when I started working with the Wild, and interacted with her initially when I was a guest on the podcast and then she and Alexis were guests on the show I hosted for the Wild at the time. But, the first summer I spent working for DaBeauty League was where I went from knowing Jessi as a professional and got to know Jessi on an incredibly personal level. This was the stuff we did that summer. We talked about life, we had fun, and she signed herself up to get some of her hair shaved off. This is one of the videos I’ve watched over and over these last few days because this is where it really all started and I’m forever grateful for it.

This is probably one of the best clips from Charlie Kirk, and I say that knowing that it’s very hard to choose when almost every one of his clips was so important. We don’t have anybody right now that is capable of reaching young people like he did and that’s because he was never afraid to speak the truth and he backed it up with facts and data. Sadly, that is more rare than a unicorn today. I listened to him all the time and I can tell you that I learned so much because when he would bring up a topic, I would want to go research it further, but this particular topic about why America is a Christian nation may be the most important one of his responses. In this clip, he definitively lays out while America’s a Christian nation, why the 10 Commandments are about morality and not religion, why you will never separate the word Judeo from the word Christian as it relates to our founding and why this country was founded on the Old Testament as much as the New Testament. The reason we are a free country is because we are a Christian nation.

My cousins and my brother and I were exploring Coney Island, we saw the sights, hung out at the arcades and before we went back to the apartment we decided to go and get something to eat, we had some money on us but not much so we decided to see what we could get at one of the vendors. This was back in the early 90’s when most of them had dollar slices of pizza wherever we went. So we got 4 pieces of pizza, should have been $4 because that’s the price we were used to. The guy wanted to charge us $24 at $6 a slice. We argues with him because one of my cousins already took a bite being so hungry. But at the least we owed $4. We gave the other slices back and refused them but had to pay for the partially eaten one, it was embarrassing that an adult would try that on a bunch of kids. We told our uncle what happened and he went back and yelled at the vendor. He was familiar with them because he used to get slices all the time from the same guy and he never charged my uncle that price. I couldn’t imagine paying that exurban amount, like this guy who was being charged $54 for a hotdog by one of the vendors. At first he thought it was a typo and it was $5.40 but the vendor. Learned it up when he said no it was $54. Would you have paid that amount? I would have walked away, clearly he was trying to possibly scam a the man for looking like a tourist. Part of the experience when visiting a new area is the street food but it’s becoming more and more a chore avoiding places like this.

Trump: They have a gash on that beautiful pool. It's a reflecting one. This is the very expensive material. We did a much bigger job than we said we were going to do because we did all the outer areas and everything. We did a beautiful job. This was pure vandalism. It's an amazing thing that we did. So it was built in 1922. That's 100 years more ago. I just had pictures taken. It's reflective. And then we're going to let a little water out because you have to let the water out to fix it. It won't take long. We may do it before July 4th or we may do it just after July 4th. Now we have it a little bit fenced off because we have a big fireworks display and tonight I'm making a speech. And people like my speeches, but I guess we're going to have a lot of people over there. One of the greatest opera singers in the world, we think he's great. Lee Greenwood's going to be singing our favorite song, and we have a lot of great things. They took razor blades and knives and they cut patches like that 350 feet long. A lot of them are like 1 foot 1 foot 1 foot.

We actually took a walk around that area a few weeks back, along with our Ministry of Detail clipboard. For one of the boxes we had to queue for a good while as there were so many people wanting a photograph with it. The conditions of the boxes varied but very few were in a reasonable state. Clearly right that the number of times people experience a place should factor in to prioritisation of their maintenance. It makes us think of other “civic facades” like airport arrival terminals and train stations - often the first impression you get of a place.
