Crimson Desert supposedly runs at around 40-45 FPS on base PS5 Quality Mode. Big emphasis on QUALITY mode. There should also be a Performance Mode which runs at or closer to 60 FPS. Seen this floating around and wanted to clear that up.

We finally got gameplay of Crimson Desert running on base PS5 The video was uploaded at 1080p30 so its hard to get proper resolution/performance counts but the game does seem to look pretty great and it is stable. Hopefully its this way for the whole game in Performance mode🙏

The pre-release version of Crimson Desert reviewed by Digital Foundry on PS5 Pro had some significant dips in framerate in optimized mode which targets 60FPS. This happened during a combat sequence where you have tons of enemies and NPC around you. As Digital Foundry suggested this is a sign of a CPU-bottleneck from the Zen 2 architecture on the PS5 Pro. When they tested out Quality mode, it had a locked 30FPS with little to no dips.
