The DCEU to the DCU... First off, this DCEU is not Snyderverse. It's Snyderverse adjacent. They wanted a HOLY SHIT cameo moment at the end of season 1 and to me it was kinda dumb. Superman and Wonder Woman silhouettes and they wouldn't allow Gunn to use Batman or Cyborg. Because Hamada and his...plans? So to the ding dongs that are laughing saying this "officially ends the Snyderverse" or the ones complaining that "they are erasing the Snyderverse." Stop it lol The universe sits somewhere in the multiverse like the Burtonverse, Donnerverse, CW-verse, etc. I'm perfectly good with the retcon. I didn't really like jokey exchange in season 1. Fits better with the JUSTICE GANG. And to the die hard Snyder fans, you don't want Gunn anywhere close to Snyder's versions of the characters, so this should be a good thing in your eyes. But of course there is always some fight that needs to fought everyday on here because Gunn is Hitler or something...

Zack Snyder posting an article earlier this week about the first Man of Steel teaser trailer still being one of DC's best. Couple things: - Congrats to Brad Curran for being the author of that article and having Zack post it out of the blue. - The article is absolutely correct in that is one of the best teaser trailers they have but also I think it's one of the best of all CBM trailers. - Jared Purrington responding with a beautiful animated clip of Superman pulling the ship in BvS of course got people talking. I know, you say the word ANIMATION and some die hard fans get offended, but given Parrington has worked with Zack several times before, using his art style for possible animated Snyderverse would be the way to go.

Romero's "Dawn of the De@d" (1978): "Interviewer: The most common criticism of your film is that it doesn't go as deeply into sociology as Romero's film–I disagree with that read, I don't think the original is all that deep and, in fact, I think that your picture has a broader, subtler, more satirical edge. Snyder: I feel like it does, too. One of the comments I've made is that when Romero made his movie, mass consumerism was a really fresh topic, y'know, something that we were first waking up to. People were more unaware that they were living in a mass consumerist society, but now, man, if people don't know that we're living in a commercial, a cynically commercial, society now, a movie ain't gonna wake you up to it. We took a lot of time and effort on the satirical structure–even the construction of the mall was meant to reflect this corporate vision of our world. A sophisticated aesthetic to give the illusion of uniqueness when the truth is that it's mass-produced, manufactured, and given over to the illusion of specialness. Interviewer: Echoing the fact of the film itself… Snyder: Exactly. The way it's marketed and sold–a movie modeled after a cult classic to emulate that cult experience–but it's none of those things. I mean, it's Universal Studios. (laughs) That part of it, the movie itself is a conversation about mass consumerism and just how hard–how impossible–it is to replicate sort of the pioneering spirit of Romero. Last weekend, Zack Snyder liked a post on Instagram showing that Man of Steel was more successful at the box office over Superman. Some fans were supporting the idea that Zack was throwing shade at Gunn. Fans on the opposite side didn't appreciate him liking that post which fueled his loud fans. I'm thinking it's just a man scrolling IG liking things about his work and it isn't that deep. But then I ask the question, does him liking something actually mean something like I've been told before? Again, he liked a post about Animated Justice League sequels and I didn't hear anything about it...

It’s frustrating to see even now still how misinformed audiences were on cavills return and why they didn’t go see black Adam. I’ll be honest a lot of Snyder fans fucked up not supporting this film. Sure it wasn’t fair man of steels future relied on the success of a cameo…but the rock was focused on listening to Snyder fans, he was speaking EXACTLY what we campaign to hear now.
