More vindication on something I suspected but that no one would talk about. Tons of kudos to BTC Sessions 😎 for being willing to talk about this. rodolfo would explicitly ask those receiving sponsorship funding not to talk about other wallets or signers, and I'm sure that SeedSigner would have been at the top of his list of "competitors" that were verboten. This active pressure, and the unspoken passive pressure that accompanied it, undoubtedly has resulted in some of the sidelining of our project that I've talked about over time. Ben resisted it but given Coinkite's sponsorship footprint in bitcoin podcasts and even conferences, who else took a pass on talking about SeedSigner or inviting one of our contributors to their pod or event because of this sort of thing? And while I think Coinkite is probably the worst offender, this unspoken dynamic is at the very least in play with *anyone* accepting funds to promote a product. This whole system of aligned malincentives has suppressed information about the project for a long time and I'm hoping that what's going on will at least eliminate some of that dynamic. If you've experienced this same thing or heard about it, please speak out.
