Completely unnecessary. A defensive lineman hitting a receiver falling backwards getting tackled by two other guys.

This should basically be a training video for what targeting is.

I’ll give: A. The play should have been called dead for forward progress. B. A penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct for unnecessary roughness. But for real guys, some of y’all need to go back and watch this more closely. Because it was a clean hit. No head to head contact.

Targeting is a college call. Learn the rules.
