@fntse Yes. Thank you. South Africa (SARB) has been much more progressive in this space than many other countries. I think what he's trying to say is why specifically bitcoin, why not other crypto which does the same thing as bitcoin, but better etc.

This is terrible. The governor has no clue about bitcoin, and is quite frankly an embarrassment to South Africa. The conversation here is about strategic reserves, and for a government allocating 5% of those reserves to bitcoin makes sense in 2025. Unless you're stuck in the past, which most of the SA government appears to be.

@fntse There is no way America is going for bitcoin reserve it's scarce it has small eco system, it's dependent on technology that can be affected by like energy it's susceptible unless bitcoin is pegged on commodity like gold it remains hot air

Due to the strategic implication of this press conference, here is a slightly longer clip from a different part of the conference that adds in more context...and also makes Gov. Walz's position more clear. I also tried to clean up the audio a bit at the beginning so that the reporter's *original* question can be discerned slightly more clearly. Originally the reporter asked the following: "Just to clarify the intention of the National Guard, is there any chance that National Guard could be deployed against federal agents to protect Minnesotans?" -> At this point Gov. Walz gestured for the reporter to repeat her question as he could not hear her. -> She then changed the question entirely and asked: "Has the Minnesota National Guard *ever been* deployed against federal agents to protect Minnesotans, and if not, (unintelligible) what happened today?" The clip attached below is the full answer to this question from Gov. Amit Chaudhary was the only son of his parents and only brother of his three elder sisters. He was about to gt married in Jan 2024. After three days the family received a call from SM of the unit who informed them that they are sending the dead body of Amit to Jammu. The family received the Body on 19th Sep and even now no one from the Army bothered to inform them about the cause and reason of his death. Family is alleging that Wife of the Colonel was forcing Amit to do things with her which he was not comfortable with. And that leads to his murder. Its such a serious allegation and if this is true its a shame for the entire force.

Judge Belazos was talking about a motion to dismiss relying on prosecutorial immunity in the civil case against Attorney Cosgrove. He was predicting that the case is frivilous and DOA, and unlikely to disqualify Cosgrove from the criminal case. He was not endorsing the third motion to dismiss filed months ago by Kearney's defense, which is largely recycled from the previous two that were already denied. The little narcissist is just trying to manufacture a "win" for his wounded ego, and is counting on all of you to be so stupid that you believe him and reinforce it. Also, don't give him your hard-earned money. He has admitted all his legal fees are paid up to date and he's buying himself a house. He doesn't need your money, he's just greedy.

[WATCH] THE PRESIDENT WILL NOT RESIGN. When it comes to the President, there is always a distinctive role between him being the President of the party and the state. There are many factors that influence the state in terms of governance and stability. If the President is called upon by some to resign and he keeps quiet it can throw the state into a state of turmoil. I want to make it clear that the officials agreed with the President on his approach, he took us into confidence and explained the factors that led him to make that particular pronouncement. We believe that the President did the right thing in pronouncing in the best interest of South Africa that he will not be resigning. There was nothing in terms of the judgment that warranted the President to resign it was just mere calls made by individuals and political parties that wanted to throw our country into a state of turmoil, uncertainty and anxiety. So it was imperative that he focus on that. It was correct for him to tell the country that from where he is standing there is nothing in the judgement that states he has done any wrongdoing and what he is going to do with the options in front of him and he has made this public. The President will take the Section 89 Report on review based on the outcome of the judgment and the legal advice he has received. There are no daggers out for the President to resign just opportunistic elements. These elements do not know what they want, they want to impeach and want him to resign, they do know what they actually want. The veracity of the report has not been tested in any committee so they don’t have a basis for the President to resign.

Today, Prince William was invited to speak on the Innovation to Impact panel at the Olympia London Tech Week, as founder and presdident of Homewards UK, to discuss how data and technology help in preventing homelessness, alongside some of the world’s leading tech voices👌🏽 Well then, when William talks about "his work", this is his actual work OUTSIDE of being a royal. This is his professional curriculum, those 3 national and international projects that he runs successfully. And that is why it is very ignorant to compare him to other senior royals such as his Princess Anne and call him "workshy" because he does not do as many royal engagements as her. ALL Princess Anne does as work are royal engagements. However, royal engagements are NOT all William does as work🔥 On top of his royal duties and responsibilities as Heir, on top of his patronages that are common to other working royals, William has a singular professional life as Presiding over these three core initiatives, Earthshot prize, UFW and Homewards UK; He also has his responsibilities as Duke of Cornwall to run the billion pound duchy with all the problems to solve; Put that in perspective and you realise that there is a great deal of work that goes behind running all these successfully, hundreds and hundreds of employees to manage, many meetings to attend, investors to meet, innovations to keep abreast off, and numerous problems arising in all directions..🔥 Yet where Most men in his position would focus on work and neglect the family side, William has found the perfect balance where he built his busy work schedule around his children's schedule, so he can still be a present as a father and do the home school runs with his wife, and take his children on holidays as well. He also make time to enjoy some downtime with his mates and watch an Aston Villa football game.🤗 This does not describe a man who is "lazy" or "workshy". This is rather the protrait of a very disciplined, organised and intelligent man, who knows how to effectively prioritise in life so he can get everything done well and successfully. So, when you're talking to these White House advisers and staffers and friends of the President, it's not just them looking at the death of an icon and a movement leader, as we've heard, it's also them looking at the death of a very close friend and somebody they spent an enormous amount of time with...[T]hat's why you're seeing such a sadness and a disbelief from so many people close to the President. And when it comes to talking strictly about his influence and his power within Washington, I mean, one of the things to keep in mind here is that this is somebody who had a direct line to President Trump who could voice his objections to President Trump at times, he could voice what he thought was important and not being covered enough by the administration. He spoke to many, if not all, of the cabinet secretaries directly. He had a finger on the pulse of the MAGA movement, even more so than some people who are here in Washington who got government positions. If you look at the crowd that had gathered around Kirk, that was just one example of the kind of crowds that Kirk would draw. He was truly a movement leader, as we've heard. He would bring thousands and thousands of people together, and that was why he was so critical beyond just the personal to the campaign to President Trump...So, there are a lot of different levels of all of this. The influence, the power, the — the connection to the base, but also the family and the relationships that Charlie Kirk had built with all of the Trumps. We have seen the children responding each individually about their relationships with Charlie Kirk saying to pray for him and his family.”
