UPDATE: The damage was very limited and caused almost no damage. Footage from on the ground reporting shows where the improvised explosive was activated, damaging only a vehicle and the ground itself. The main objective was to create fear. Situation is fully under control.

Dash Cam Captures Umlazi Vehicle Hijacking as Criminals Dump Goods A group of criminals in Umlazi hijacked a vehicle loaded with goods, forcing the driver to lie on the ground before driving away and discarding the cargo. The incident unfolded when the assailants stopped the vehicle and compelled the driver to exit and lie down. They then took control of the vehicle and proceeded to dump the goods it was carrying. Reports indicate that the vehicle was later recovered, but the goods were no longer inside. The entire event was recorded by a dashboard camera installed in the vehicle. The criminals appeared unaware that the camera was actively recording.
