@_mstarks First off it wasn’t a sad affair it was a celebration of life. She wasn’t buried she was laid to rest 😂😂😂

And then 6 months later out of the blue …. You just think about them and find yourself like this…

Everyone did their crying when we got the news, on the way to the service, and then at the burial . . . We pick it back up on the ride back home

And since all the grandkids are together, grandma would have it no other way.

It was a celebration of life. Reminds me of my father being buried. After his funeral we went to eat and stuff.

I think this a general thing, not just black Americans even Africans 😂 there always a big party with food after the body is laid to rest
