How would it sound on spotify ? It requires a -1dB TP wouldnt it be turned down like crazy? Also what about the transients on spotify? I never dared to try it out :/

When mixing in any daw you can gain > 0dBFS as the mixing engines will float at 32-bit or 64 and that headroom is available This snippet shows the TP value in insight; the peak level is +7.7dB, and if you exported that +7.7dBTP to 24bit; it would be hard clipped & distorted.

imo moral of the story here is doing whatever you’re doing with purpose. i remember soundcloud dubstep guys tweeting like 10 years ago not realizing going over 0 was changing the sound, because their shit was so distorted anyways haha. kinda funny

Is there anything wrong with this? In theory yeah. Intersample peaks which is badically unwanted distortion when the signal is converted back to an analog signal. This might also make the track a bit less consistent across a wide range of systems.
