Watch it backwards to understand how to hang your cords behind pipes.

Check what happens after this last step...its clear video manipulation, cheating

This bit was an illusion we thought it was tied behind the pole, it wasn't, there was no knot.

It's topology. If you think about it, the plug head isn't just bound by the pole. It's alternatively bound by its attachment to the cable. Trying to pull the plug back through the gap is not a viable release, but changing the relationship with the cable is.

Here’s an idea. We stop making fake solution videos and start removing cords prior to the installation of a conduit

Look at 00.39. The cord just behind the plug is UNDER. Look at 00.40. Magically over. Fake.

It is so, so simple. Pay attention... It was NEVER behind the pipe. Hope this helps

the plug needs to go through the loop so it stops being a loop but the pipe is blocking it so the solution is to move the loop to the other side where the plug can pass through it freely.

After this move the cable passes through the pipe...is it possible practically?

Think of it this way... the wire coming from the right side goes over the pole. the rest of the wire just goes under the pole 2 times. you just need to disentangle the 2 crossings going under the pole, and they cancel themselves out.

I've learned the word 'topology' in relation to this phenomenon. But that's about as far as I've gotten in really understanding it.

Ahh, this is sooo stupid, both ends of the cable are on the same side from the very beginning, nothing is tangled 🥱

They don’t move the plug. But they move the knot No tricks, watch it frame by frame if needed. Just “basic” advanced math

The plug has never been stuck!

Good to realize that it had to have been able to be placed there as well, so there is always a reverse order of operationsto undo that action.

The imposible trick. The cable with the plug should be under the above cable and instead is above it...

It makes a lot more sense if you watch it being setup. Make a loop, tuck it behind the pipe, put the head through the loop, pull.

@grok would this even work?

Fake Video, 10 to 11 secs before the end the cable cuts through the tube like a hot knife through butter.

I only watched the first part, and cut it with scissors. There was more???

In real life usually there is no loop, just a straight cable with a plug, stuck behind a table leg or something

Because it’s cut at 0.40. The cable with the plug is under. 0’41 the cable is upper

There must be a Khabe Lame video out there to show us a better, simpler way to do this.
