When I’ve come across this stuff the customer usually want it taken out as it either doesn’t ‘work effectively’, leaks, or both.

Is this the same stuff that was on dragons den about 10 years ago?

Fitted that a few years ago on a heat pump. It’s what the customer wanted. They supplied it. They supplied all everything. It didn’t get some rooms very hot upstairs. They had UFH downstairs. It was in a new build which he built himself. He super insulated it as well.

I've worked on older houses ,70s,with skirting rads. They have 2 copper pipes with fins. Gap at bottom and top for airflow., so they would have a lot more surface area than these and a higher temperature. So I can't see these replacing radiators.

They were out years ago. Good idea but I never fitted any after advertising them unfortunately.

I can’t see how the skirting board can have the same heat output as a radiator 🤔

I’ve seen them used on a retrofit project. Interesting. The business owner has an interesting style on social media.

It’s no different to anything else really, flow temp combined with surface area equals the output vs the heat loss. Same issue with radiators in terms of optimising a system to enable a heat pump to be efficient, you reduce the flow temp and you need more!
