Photosynthesis uses CO2 and the Hot Sun rays to turn the Carbon into Cooler Hydrocarbons and give off some tasty O2. So CO2 takes hot sunlight heat and stores that heat chemically which cools the planet. That's how it affects it and other stuff too. Fear the mongers of Fear, not the CO2.
