No one talks about the "Left handed agenda"

I’m left handed and that shit lasted well into the 70’s and 80’s. Especially if you went to catholic school.

I find this argument silly regardless. When I was a kid, we had girls that were known as tomboys, and boys called sissy. We have always had ways to explain away gender differences. We just understand things differently now.

As a lefty who survived Catholic grade school in the 60s , I always say that we are one of the first minority groups to get accommodation in 1970s. They started bringing left-handed desks in the classroom.😎

Two people (that I know of) out 146 in my graduating HS class of 1988 have since surgically transitioned. It would have been unheard of & impossible to do back then. I’m know them both & wasn’t surprised, nor was anyone else. I regret they weren’t able to be themselves sooner.

In my high school, the gay kids weren't open with who they were. Very few were 'out,' and a transgender kid would have never survived. Kids were bullied, relentlessly. Only a idiot thinks they didn't exist. They were just terrified and hiding.

Exactly. When people feel safe, they will reveal the full scope of who they are. It's not rocket science, just reality.

True. My mother had teachers who tied her left arm down to force her to use her right hand. The right hand ("dexter") was considered the "good" hand, the left was "sinister." Therefore, someone who is ambiextrous is considered to have "two right hands."

My aunt was left handed and they wouldn’t let her use it, that would have been in the 1920’s.

I went to a private Armenian school in Toronto in the 80s and the teachers slapped me with a ruler to stop me from writing left- handed!! The devils hand 🤦🏻‍♀️

It seems more difficult for boys to change. As kids, we all knew the girls who were "tomboys" and thought nothing of it.
