Not the Bitcoin network. Not settled/yours. The anyone-tp-anyone TPS of Lightning is zero.

Compared to traditional settlement rails, it’s very fast. Compared to a modern, Nakamoto-based, PoW protocol like $KAS… Well, it’s currently 6,000 times slower on the base layer (the layer that actually matters).

Unfortunately during the transaction 15,000 sats dropped in value by 3.00 do they have to send another 7,000 sats. While they did that the price went up so they needed to refund 4000 sats. While they were doing the refund the price nuked and they needed to send back 8,000 sats. While that was going through the price ripped and they required a 5,000 sats refund. She threw the coffee at me and left.

blocktime is 60 seconds on the Scrypt algorithm. P2P transactions are near instant in most cases. And the transaction fee for P2P is under 1 cent. PEP is mined along side of Litecoin, Dogecoin and other Scrypt projects. Meaning, all of the Scrypt blockchain miners provide hashrate/security to all of the projects on Scrypt. Miners get paid from every chain they are merge mining with. Mining Litecoin, merge mine with Dogecoin and PEP, using no more power than it takes to just mine LTC, and get paid in all 3 coins!
