I swear that people will never understand that it is not the technology that is the issue, but the human nature behind it that controls it. In a perfect society, Flock would be a brilliant idea. Ideally, criminals would be apprehended en masse, sex trafficking would stop, and petty offenses would be completely overlooked, to focus on real crime. However, the complete opposite is true... This is also why AI is so problematic. As a Gen Z who studies history, psychology, and the Bible, I don’t understand how millennials can so flagrantly and pridefully propose such systems of surveillance and control, acting as if they will not be misused to the fullest extent possible. SMH. They are either complete fools, or they know EXACTLY what they are up to. Both are bad.
