No other Way to detect deep insert Skimmers!

"Detectives have not found a skimmer yet." They really should run every single device through a control and have the cops do it to ensure something isn't wrong in the hardware or test process. You wouldn't give them a gun that hasn't been used by them on the range.

Haha fair point on proper controls! But Skim Scan is stupid simple no complex hardware or calibration headaches. Just slide it in and the LED lights up if there's that extra magnet strip.That's why cops & gas stations are already using it. Finally a real tool for what detectives kept missing!

The skimmers are on the inside of the gas station where they can place it on top of the tap at the counter

OK now instead of testing the outdoors one.. Go inside to them sketchy readers at the counters that somehow Magically get scanners attached to them that the workers do not notice happening..

The smart crook would hack into the device the cops are using and implant a virus to attach to each card reader they use.

they should test it themselves. ask a law enforcement agency that has a skimmer that the collected as evidence andtry it out. if it hasnt found one yet, you cant really be sure it even can. skimmer scammers may sell the thing to make it look like their skimmers arent there :)

Smart point! Independent testing on real LE evidence skimmers would be gold. But until then, this device spotting deep inserts on the spot is still a huge step up from nothing. Scammers evolve fast tools gotta too.

I've found a few. I've even seen one through a broken pump. Check truck stops like TA, loves, etc.

Some skimmers get built into the ATM , the days when fraudsters would glue one onto the outside of the machine over the slot are at an end. People got wise to this kind of skimmer.
