Eurostar services and all other trains have been suspended this morning at Gare du Nord, as police work to disable an unexploded World War II bomb. It was found "in the middle of the tracks" in the area of Saint-Denis, a suburb of Paris, during overnight works on the tracks. Four trains from London's St Pancras station have been cancelled so far, as have the first six trains departing Paris for London. Eurostar is advising passengers to change their journey to a different date of travel.

Upon noticing the fire, railway staff promptly evacuated all passengers, separated the affected coach from the rest of the train, and informed the fire brigade, state administration, and railway authorities. Immediate action ensured the safety of all passengers. The fire has been almost completely controlled. Three fire brigade units, ambulances, and civil administration are on-site, working collaboratively. Railway officials have arrived, and additional coaches are being arranged from Kota.
