I'm struggling to understand why people don't connect with their landsmen in their destination cities. This is modern-day slavery! Any situation where one is compelled to remain or work against their will, whether through coercion, deception or lack of viable alternatives constitutes a form of slavery, including being forced to perform tasks beyond contractual agreements or under conditions that violate fundamental human rights. Africans must avoid countries like Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Vietnam… they are ruthless in their treatment of Africans. Even parts of India, especially major cities linked to Bollywood. There's a reason skin bleaching is prevalent in some countries. We must stop turning the other cheek & return favors in our respective countries!
