🐰 i worked a lot with El Guincho. I got to listen to a lot of tracks and i was really wowed by just how fresh and new this was. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio: It is in my personal view that we've had probably the most productive and meaningful meeting so far in this entire process since we've been involved in it from the beginning. So I think the takeaway from it is I think this is a very, very meaningful, I would say probably best meeting and day we've had so far in this entire process going back to when we first came into office in January. Peter Thiel’s advice to his younger self: "Value substance over status.” One of the resolutions I came up with a number of years ago was to always value substance over status, substance over prestige. And if I was giving my younger self advice on what to do or how to think about one's life, I probably would still go to Stanford, might still go to law school. But I'd ask a lot more questions: why I was doing these things? Too much of it was driven by prestige and status, and not quite enough about really the substance of trying to learn things. I sort of think of it as this sort of crazy rolling quarter life crisis, and a sort of culmination in this big New York law firm where from the outside everybody wanted to get in, from the inside everybody wanted to get out. I lasted seven months and three days. And when I left, one of the people down the hall said, it's so reassuring to see you leave, Peter. I had no idea it was possible to escape from Alcatraz. And all you had to do was go through the front door. But people's identities get so wrapped up in the things they compete for that it was inconceivable for people to actually do that. And then the question was, how had I ended up there? Why had I not thought about that more? And I think it was that I had taken too many of these shortcuts of valuing what was prestigious, what was conventional, over what I really wanted to do. So I think always substance over status.

We both have a favorite song, and that song is ‘DIORAMA’. I would choose ‘DIORAMA’ to introduce someone to who Yves is because it shows a lot of range. 🦊 the thing i said the most while preparing for this album was “i’m no labels” “i have no labels” and i realized that there’s no need for me to be humble even when i’m making music, i just need to enjoy and express myself 🦊 i think i’ve always been a humble person so i tried to get rid of that (while making the album) and i feel like i was lacking in a lot more ways than i thought 🦊 working with a lot of producers and different people made me think “there are lot of things i’m lacking in, huh?” and it was an opportunity where i could really experience and learn a lot of things

That Ospreay and Swerve segment was awesome. The way that they called back to some of the inconsistencies with All In and Forbidden Door to make more sense of them was great. Both men seemed extremely locked in and I think that they positioned the inevitable Ospreay win really well. They addressed a lot of the criticisms with the Ospreay/Death Riders story, and I think that this was Swerve’s best promo in forever.
