Dear Nigerians, It’s been four days since fifteen corps members were kidnapped. No word from the Nigeria Police Force, no word from NYSC NDHQ, the government is silent. The passenger manifest clearly shows their names. It’s peak rainy season, & their families are distraught. Our children serving their fatherland are in kidnappers' den, yet we remain silent. This should not be happening! Children should always feel safe & protected. We are a community: there should never come a day when we fail to act as one. We should be trending this. There is no purpose more profound than to stand among people, to walk beside them, look into their eyes, and witness first-hand the trust they place in us when they are at their most vulnerable. As I moved through every section, I listened quietly to patients and their families, their worries, their exhaustion, their courage in the face of illness. What moved me most was the unmistakable relief of knowing that their pain was seen and their voices heard. This is the ethic that must animate governance: to reach before suffering deepens, to respond before hope fades. And at the heart of #Sebaashray2 lies the trust of our people. It is their faith that steadies every difficult decision, that strengthens my resolve through every test, and that keeps me walking this path of service every single day.

He escaped because Frank DiMartini and Pablo Ortiz found a way out. But instead of leaving, Donald says, “They went up” to save others. “Those guys exhibited uncommon valor that I’ve never seen before.” Donald survived. They did not. Their names—and their courage—must never be forgotten.

The Whitmer Administration is in violation of our agreement to bring state employees back to work. COVID is over. There’s no reason why government workers shouldn’t be back in their offices.
