Road- Via Samruddhi (Mehkar interchange) Rail- Shegaon railway station ( Trains enroute to Amravati/Nagpur/Kolkata, major station) The Living arrangements are excellent here. Better than hotels

Shegaon Gajanan Maharaj sansthan Bhakt Niwas of Pandharpur is top model of management with minimal fare and maximum faculties and top quality food in the temple town! cleanliness, hospitality and hygeinic food unmatched !

Why other temple trust don't replicate this? Yesterday we visited Pandharpur devstan but sad to see the pathetic condition including poor crowd management no proper queue system, poor cleanliness, missing of basic display boards/signages. Only main Gabhara is Good.

प्रांगणात वृक्ष आहेत सावली द्यायला, नाहीतर महाकाल व काशी विश्वनाथ कॉरिडोर येथे उन्हाळ्यात चालायचे वांदे होतात. पंढरपूरला मी एका रात्रीसाठी गजानन महाराज धर्मशाळेत थांबलेलो, त्याकाळी तिथे पण अशीच स्वच्छता होती.

Literally no temple in India is as well managed as Shegaon.... And yes tirumala is well managed but Shegaon is slightly better in my opinion.

Every temple in India needs to learn about cleanliness and hygiene, and crowd management from temples like Shegaon, Tirumala etc. The dirt and filth at Mahankaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Bankebihari etc. is unbelievable. It is the responsibility of all of us devotees to do our part

@AmeyKulkarni_21 they are built to handle 5lakh plus a day, so I would say their crowd management is very good. I have never seen an untidy space in Tirumala

Better... Better than the best hotels... Try staying at the duplex room.. It was 800 day in 2012. But unmatachable services and food

Now they've completely banned usage of mobiles in the premises too. A very welcome step which should be followed by all temples. More than half of the nuisance will get cut down there only

No doubt. Absolutely. All temple trusts, trustees & their employees from all over the country shud learn every small details of management from this temple. Its a perfect example of how to maintain sanctity & discipline of any temple & how temple funds shud be utilised.

You need those type of devotees as well who knows how to co-operate with sevakaris and also know how to maintain discipline... It's not possible in those places where people are spitting guthka and pushing each other and priest are involved in corruption..
