This lady who is a neighbor went to this woman’s house to complain about her flag. She told her she didn’t mind the American Flag but the Tigger flag she was flying made the neighborhood look tacky. The resident owner told her this wasn’t an HOA but the older neighbor told her that their community had “rules.” Do you think the older neighbor had a good reason to complain and handled it reasonably by going to her neighbor face to face or do you think she should mind her own business? During the dinner service, she ordered herself a plate of sushi while he orders nothing, she thought it was strange that he didn’t get anything for himself which raised a red flag. Was he planning on not paying after all? When the food comes, she starts to enjoy her sushi, and he starts to take sushi off of her plate as well. She objects to this and he explains well sushi is meant to be shared. Was he wrong for not ordering his own plate and instead ate her food too, or did she misunderstand the custom that it is customary for sushi to be shared? What would you do in this situation?
