Harsh, given he was being neck rolled at the time. No try, Ireland pen would probably have been the call.

Apart from that not being incredibly soft, how is that not a neck roll on Aki? Has to be said Pearse did not have a good game.

Most neutrals felt this was a harsh call. Bundee should have had a penalty for the turnover and Kelleher did not play the ball on the ground as TMO hypothesised. Hard enough playing the Boks at Loftus without dubious officiating

Luke Pearce is a weak ref and had a bad TMO reviewing that and other calls! Kolbe ahead of kicker on restart that led to penalty try!

Referees/Tmo’s are ruining the top end games, they’ve lost a feel for a game and it’s flow…..this is a disgrace, & definitely not in the spirit of the game

Clear Neck Roll here so even if the Ref wants to disallow a try for a minuscule infringement that he wasn’t reffing all game, it should’ve been a penalty to Ireland.
