Even if he used rotation or whatever he would have died, that's what the author wanted. But we as readers are coming with the logic of the world as written by the author and he didn't play by the rules he wrote. It looks a little better in the manga but it's still poorly written

Tbf, in the manga, the projectiles were coming a lot faster than that 😅 It's just like that situation with Sakura when Obito was telling her to destroy his eye. There was no time for her to do it, but because of anime padding, it looked like she had years to act.

Hinata had time to react and came to block for Naruto when she could’ve just dragged Naruto away. There’s also the extra time that Neji had to block for Hinata. Unless Naruto weighs too much from all the ramen he ate. Neji’s death was so unnecessary here.

This man had 5 business days 3arcs and 15 flash back worth of time to jump and air rotation the 2 slinters away…
