Except—no one works like this, and it's actually counterproductive. There's something beautiful about keeping things simple and not over-engineering everything. Classic Asian company moves, I see this all the time in Indian companies as well: over engineer all the time and lack of taste. It works in Asia, but not in the West, where people prefer simplicity and elegant solutions.
